I was pleased with the way Rick Warren handled the forum. Both candidates made it clear where they stand on many of the issues. I tend to believe that most politicians who run for national office do realize that whether they are pro life or pro choice that they will allienate a certain segment of the Population. I think Religion has been dividing America a lot more than it should over the past 30 years, and if America is going to stay in the state of disrepare it is in, our leaders whether we agree or disagree with them, need to find common ground.

I thought Obama did a good job at taking on questions that are hard for all Democrats and Mccain did enforce that he truly is pro life. Obama did make a case for what he believes and as a result many people will not vote for him and he respected that. As for Mccain, well I wish he didn't say "my friends" as much as he did. In politics you have to know not everyone is your friend, and if Mccain has a chance he needs to stop saying that.

I think if Mccain picks Lieberman as a VP there is no way he'll win. Liebermann up intil 2006 was very much a part of the Democratic platform and was a running mate for Al Gore. I think people from both sides question Lieberman's loyalty.

I was pleased with Warren and his approach and I hope in time that we must discuss the culture wars in America in order to change our policies on all issues.
