No, I'm not confusing Christian with conservative at ALL. What I think you failed to understand is that I think Christian radio has it confused. I believe Christian radio has given IN to secular stations talking about issues that CHRISTIANS need to be talking about. I believe since Christian radio doesn't see the need to employ full time news people to provide comprehensive news coverage of issues from a Christian World Views, Sean Hannity has seemingly replaced the Christian radio station's influence. I don't have it confused and I don't need more research. Perhaps you should call around to your local Christian radio stations and find out how many of them have full-time news departments. You will soon find out they care more about playing entertaining Christian music, than helping Christians be relevant in a dark world.

I think you are confusing "Christian" with "onservative" They are not one and the same. Sean Hannity may be a Catholic, but certainly doesn't conduct himself in a loving christlike manner. Fox? I think you need to do a bit more research...

Sean Hannity invites both sides of the issue to talk about issues. The interesting thing is Hannity WON'T let politicians 'blow smoke.' He'll call them on issues. He's always saying, "I'll give you the last word." So, don't tell me Hannity doesn't let people talk -- he does. That's not to say he doesn't cut people off. He does that because he has hard breaks (local station cut-aways and commercials) he has to honor. Sometimes he has no choice. However, he's very fair -- but again, he's a conservative and will do everything he can to push the cause of conservatism.

I have to say that Sean Hannity is very affective and influential. When you do all the talking and don't let anyone else talk of course people will believe you. I do wish a pundit of a more progressive persuasion could be as dynamic. Our candidates would win many more elections.

I wish Christian radio wasn't so political. I mean the issues of concern like abortion and that sort of thing does play a role in Christian media, but some programs like the ACLJ are problematic for me, because they do point out some of the issues that Christians face in their daily lives by taking God out of the schools or censorship of students wearing Christian tee shirts. I think the program makes some great points, but I also find some negativity towards many of the people in society they find fault with like pro-choice politicians, or disdain of the public schools. The Jesus I know is a loving saviour not a judgemental one. It says "judge not lest yea be judged".

I like Christian teachers who share the gospel and stick to strengthening me, and we need to pray for people we find to be unjust. Politicians tend to not tell truths, and that is why when I go to my church I try to focus on my relationship with Christ, and block the outside world out.
